Ok, at this point Jon is pissed. We've been on the trail for 4 hours and our destination is up a rocky moraine that is now finally visible. At this point we figure we'll make our 4 hour hike (per the map!) in 5 1/2 hours. Then, of course, we'll have to come back! What's a moraine? More on that later.
